SRI SATHYA SAI BALVIKAS CHILDREN OFFERING PRAYERS TO THEIR PARENTS

An unique scene that brings back to life the ancient Sanatan tradition of offering "Pada Puja" to one's parents. This matchless tradition is coming back with much more vigour thanks to the Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas programme that is undertaken by Sri Sathya Sai Organisation around the world.

Balvikas programme  is massive in India where in there are close to 20,000 Balvikas centers currently functioning in India alone, with a whopping Four hundred and fifty thousand (4,50,000) active children and calculating the inception year of Balvikas by Swami in the year 1969, there could be easily 5 million Balvikas Allumni doing their bit in their own humble way to the society. 

Over the year Balvikas programme  has had a huge impact amongst the children where volunteers visit various places with their own expenses, every weekend and teach moral values to the children from all walks of life not necessarily Sai families.

This particular video is from DR Colony Balvikas Center in a town called Hindupur (About 2 hours from Puttaparthi).
